Dave and Myca have been not only brought up in the admonition of the Lord, but also promoted by Him through their leaders by the laying on of hands into public ministry.

Both Dave and Myca are honored to be alumni of Supernatural Ministries Training Institute, founded by Dr. Mark T. Barclay (Senior Pastor of Living Word International in Midland, MI and National Prophet). S.M.T.I. is a three year course designed to develop the practical aspects of ministry while infusing core doctrine.

Dave & Myca have also completed, taught at, and overseen Student of the Word at Light of the North Christian Center in Traverse City, MI (founded by Rev. Tim Mann). SOW is a two year intensive course on 24 fundamental doctrines of the Christian Faith. Dave oversaw publishing and production of publicity materials, and Myca governed the correspondence of three offsite schools in the United States.

Myca was licensed through Light of the North Christian Center in 1998. Dave was later licensed shortly after, also through L.N.C.C. in 2000. Both have been ordained through Ambassadors for Christ to the Nations (as of 2004) with Arlene Yoder, the late Rev. Cloyde Yoder, with John and Sandra Posey and the congregation of Zoe Christian Fellowship (Atlanta, Georgia) as witnesses.

Dave and Myca served faithfully together at Light of the North Christian Center (Traverse City, MI) before marrying in 1996. Dave began attending LNCC in 1992, and came into working in the Children’s Ministry and the Worship Team later that same year. He also oversaw regular publications and advertising, including a newsletter (Principles for Service) and monthly mailings. Myca came to Light of the North in 1995 and was resident missions advocate and bookkeeper for LNCC and ran Ambassadors for Christ to the Nations stateside office while the Yoders work in Central America.
